Getting Around Tokyo

We strongly recommend you use public transportation.

  • Subway   map

Rechargeable IC card card is very useful to move around in Tokyo.  There are two types of card, "Suica" and "Pasmo".  This article describes them well.

Taxi is good to make a phone call while moving, though it costs more and takes time depends on traffic condition.  Be aware that taxi door opens automatically.  Uber is not popular in Tokyo.
